About this data

World Karting Rankings (WKR) is an independent, non-commercial project that compiles a global ranking of karting drivers. Every result shown on this site is aggregated from publicly available sources — official classifications and timing published by championship organisers, race promoters, national federations and public timing providers (for example FIA Karting, WSK, ROK Cup, Rotax MAX Challenge and comparable series and events). WKR does not obtain data from private or non-public sources.

What we hold

For each driver we store only information that already appears in these public competition results: name, the nationality shown in the results (where published), the categories and events entered, finishing positions, and a rating/ranking that WKR calculates from those results. We do not collect or store contact details, addresses, dates of birth, photographs, or any special-category (sensitive) personal data.

Why we process it (legal basis)

The data is processed for the legitimate interest of compiling and publishing sporting statistics about publicly held competitions — the same public interest that applies to published race results and to sports reporting.

Cookies & analytics (site visitors)

Separately from the sporting data above, when you visit this website we use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used — for example which pages are viewed, and general device, browser and approximate (country/region-level) location information. Google Analytics stores cookies on your device for this. These analytics cookies are used only if you accept them: on your first visit a banner asks you to Accept or Decline, and Google Analytics does not load until you choose “Accept.” If you decline, no analytics cookies are set and any existing ones are cleared. This usage data is processed by Google as our service provider and is not linked to the driver results above. You can change your choice at any time by clearing this site’s cookies.

Minors

Karting is a youth sport and many competitors are minors. Only their sporting information, as already published in public race results (name, nationality, category, results), is shown. No contact information or other identifying data is held. A parent or legal guardian may request removal or correction at any time and it will be actioned promptly.

Your rights

You — or, for a minor, a parent or legal guardian — may at any time request to access, correct, or remove a driver’s information. We action removal and correction requests promptly and free of charge.

Independence

WKR is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or an official product of any championship or organisation whose public results it aggregates. All series, event and organisation names are the property of their respective owners.
